Stephannie E. R. Solomon is a native Baltimorean who loves to witness the unfolding of God’s word, particularly 1 Corinthians 2:5, “…that our faith should never stand in the wisdom of people, but always in the matchless power of God.” She is a member of one of Baltimore's finest churches, the United Baptist Church, where her husband, Rev. Carl J. Solomon pastors. Together they are the proud and doting parents of Sierra Simone.
Her career as an author began in 1997 with her first publication Conversations With The King and Study Guide. Her burden to witness Christian growth from the application of God’s word inspired the founding of Conversations With The King Ministries, Inc. in 2000 and the launching of the Annual Coed Disciples’ Retreat in 2006. These assignments, along with her prayer cd, Prayers To The King and book sequel, Living With The King, have proven to be practical and viable tools that strengthen the Body of Jesus Christ.
As a co-author, her anointed and prolific writing style is evidenced in the books Sister To Sister: Devotions For and From African American Women and Sister Strength. Readers of Unity In the Spirit magazine and of her website", Writing What The Spirit Says", have been blessed by her topical writings. Her passion for putting pen to paper is of great assistance to industrious individuals seeking a ghostwriter to pen their thoughts. She has seized opportunities to minister in prisons, with street witnessing teams, to youth, to new converts, and to various discipleship groups. Invitations to speak at Christian retreats, conferences, seminars, workshops, as well as commencement activities and employee empowerment sessions are humbly embraced.
Stephannie Solomon is the recipient of a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in Elementary School Education; a Master of Science degree from Morgan State University in Elementary/Middle School Education with a Concentration in Middle School Mathematics; the 1992 Teacher of the Year Award from a Baltimore City school; the 2005 Female Teacher of the Year Award from a Baltimore County school and is a proud member of the prestigious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
